San Saba High School's FCCLA makes plans for upcoming school year
Thursday, July 28, 2011 • Posted July 28, 2011

The local San Saba Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America have a busy and exciting schedule planned for the upcoming school year. Not only do we already have several STAR event teams lined up to compete, but we also have significant fundraisers dated and set in our FCCLA calendars.

Because FCCLA focuses on promoting personal growth and leadership development, our goal as the local officers is to increase the awareness of the FCCLA organization and get as many individuals to join as possible. We plan to start the year out in September with an ice cream social to get members more acquainted with each other and get excited for the many events we have in store.

Among the various officer meetings we have scheduled, we also planned as far ahead as February and the possibility of a dance for the Junior High and Middle School of San Saba.

With this year’s dedicated officer team and the support of our advisor, Mrs. Rogers, we know that this upcoming school year will be a great experience for the San Saba Independent School District and the local community as well.
