Jaze Randolph from Gustine spent the weekend with Jerry and Richard Randolph. Richard’s family had a birthday dinner for him on Friday night at Sandy’s home in Llano.

Recent visitors in Cherokee were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lee Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Smith and Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Smith.

Sue & Robert Broyles opened the gate to their beautiful backyard for a fish fry last Friday night celebrating the completion of the raffle quilt for the Cherokee VFD. Those who worked on the quilt and attended were Geneva and Ed Brawn, Candace Henderson, Maurine and Avery Johnson, Sandy and Lovell Kuykendall, Carolyn and Charles Perry, Clara and Ken Thomson, Kay and Bob Savage and granddaughter Maddy Musel of Austin. Others who helped, but unable to attend, were Suzanne Crum and Kristi Harris.
