SSISD and the San Saba Athletic Department, would like to give a BIG thank you to the staff at Scott and White San Saba Clinic, for providing free physicals for our student athletes this past Tuesday. Craig Whiting,DO.,Greg Mercier,PAC., Kristi Sanchez, Martha Umble, Michelle Hensley, Raquel Argote, and Kristy Owens did an outstanding job and we appreciate their time and effort. If you were unable to take advantage of the physical and paper work checking opportunity, please do so as soon as possible. Athletes may get their physical from any Clinic/Doctor as long as they use the form provided. All paper work for 2011 can be turned in at the Admin. Bldg., High School, or the field house. Please make sure all student and parent/guardian lines are signed.

All student- athletes received all the necessary paperwork prior to the end of school, if anyone needs copies of the paper work it can be picked up at any time at the field house, High School or at the Administration Office. All student athletes and guardians must complete and SIGN all paper work BEFORE competing in U.I.L. athletic events.

THE 2011 ARMADILLO FOOTBALL CAMP WILL BE HELD JULY 20

Registration for the camp will be at 8:30 am. Wednesday July 20th. You may also pick up registration forms at the Field House, High School, or the Administration Bldg. If you have any questions please call Coach Pannell at 325-372-3222, or 325-372-1712.

Other dates of interest are: Thursday July 28th. 5:30 pm. Armadillo Football Parent Meeting. Armadillo Arena Foyer. This is a informational meeting for all Armadillo football parents/ guardians or just interested fans. We will cover the structure of the program, procedures, expectations, practice times/ dates, health and safety issues, go over paper work, and answer any questions you might have. Monday August 1st. 2 a day football practice begins. The Armadillos will practice from 7:00-10:00 am. and 7:00- 9:00 pm. with exceptions. Each football player has received a summer and August calendar with all dates and times. If you would like a copy, they are available at the field house, High School, and Administration Bldg. Friday August 19th. Middle School football players will be able to get equipment at the white Gym at 4:00. Meet The Dillos will also be on this date at 7:00.

The Armadillos are having a great summer, working out, working, vacationing, and having fun and being safe. We hope you are too. You will see the Coaches selling program ads soon. You will see the kids selling cookie dough and pizza soon. We hope to all see you at practices, scrimmages and games. Our first Varsity football game is Friday August 26th. at 7:30.
