Thursday, July 21, 2011 • Posted July 21, 2011

Methodist ladies are planning the July Fellowship of Christian Women’s Luncheon for next Thursday, July 28th in their downstairs fellowship hall. Beginning at 11:30 a.m. these ladies ask that we bring Picnic Treats for this summer month. Ladies in their 40’s will be treated and others are encouraged to bring any picnicking foods to share around the serving tables. A nursery will be available for preschoolers only, and do bring food for your children, if you wish for them to eat during the luncheon.

Carol Littlefield tells us she has invited Mr. and Mrs. Roger Whatley from Georgetown to be special guests and he plans to play his guitar and sing during the meal and for the special music that day. They are retired and enjoy ranching in San Saba County. For our featured speaker, Mrs. Woody Martin has agreed to come and share a missionary testimony. Woody and Miki have 2 children and 2 grandchildren and have lived in San Saba about a year. She’s chosen to title her talk, "Fulfilling Your Mission" and plans to tell about a missionary group her father founded many years ago. Miki has participated in many evangelistic mission trips helping churches around the world. month at Parkview.

Woody and Miki have 2 children and 2 grandchildren, and have lived in San Saba about a year. Hope you will make your plans to come and bring someone with you to enjoy this precious music and delightful missionary experience.
