Texas Dairy Queen Operators’ Council Donates $33,834 to family of Brownwood, TX firefighter, Shannon

Monday, July 11th, the Texas Dairy Queen Operators’ Council (TDQOC) announced they are donating $33,834 to the family of Shannon Stone, the Brownwood, TX firefighter who died July 7 after a fall from the left field upper railing at The Ballpark in Arlington while attempting to catch a baseball for his six-year old son.

To help support Stone’s family, the TDQOC announced Saturday, July 9

th that they pledged to donate $1 for each person in attendance at Sunday’s game between the Texas Rangers and the Oakland Athletics. The attendance at yesterday’s game was 33,834.
