Roy and Trudy Hartzog of Farwell announce the upcoming marriage of their daughter, Ahsley Hartzog to Tyler Hawkins, son of Roland and Cindy Hawkins of San Saba.

Ashley is a Farwell High School 2004 graduate and a Texas Tech University 2010 graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish. She is currently enrolled in the Food Safety Master's program at Texas Tech University under Dr. Mindy Brashears. She is employed by the Brashears Micro Lab at Texas Tech University.

Tyler is a San Saba High School 2004 graduate and a Texas Tech University 2009 graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Range Management. He is employed by the McKinley Drilling Company in Pearsall, Texas.

The wedding is scheduled at the American Wind Power Center in Lubbock, Texas, August 12, 2011.
