Daylight burglary in San Saba County
Thursday, July 14, 2011 • Posted July 14, 2011

A burglary of a residence was reported to the San Saba Sheriff's Office last week. Unknown suspect/suspects kicked in the door of a house located on HWY 16 North between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. and stole items from the residence.

We are asking anyone who was driving by on HWY 16 North near the San Saba Rodeo Arena to please contact the Sheriff's Office if they saw anything out of the ordinary.

Sheriff Brown stated that there have been day time burglaries before, but it is unusual to have one on a busy highway like this during heavy traffic hours.

Chief Deputy Bill Price is working the case and you can contact him at 325-372-5551 or contact us on the crime stoppers line at 325-372-5432
