Cherokee Parade and Hamburger Supper was a big success. The children enjoyed the games. Everyone missed the Fireworks, maybe next year.

Jeff Cockrum visited in Cherokee Saturday afternoon. Jeff lives in Georgetown.

Our sympathy goes to the family of Jill Millican. Jill was laid to rest in Colony Cemetery last Saturday morning.

The Baptist Church will havea Fish Fry Saturday, July 9 at 7:00 p.m. Everyone is invited. Proceeds will go to the Tornado Victims.

Summer Revival at the Cherokee Baptist Church will begin Sunday Morning at 11:00 a.m. Sunday School at 10:00 a.m. Dinner on the grounds. Sunday night services will be at 6:30. Night services on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night will be at 6:00 a.m. Steve Taylor from Borger will be the guest speaker. Everyone is invited.
