1 Corinthians 15:50 "Now this I say brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God; neither dost corruption inherit incorruption."

This scripture is a clear warning that at death our flesh bodies will rot and stink in the process of returning to the earth from which they came. Common logic dictates that God will never permit that to be in His perfect Heaven. But we have His beautiful promise that our Spirits will return to Him because He gave them to us. Our flesh and blood bodies will never be changed, or ever be used again after death; but there is a comforting message in verse 51 of that 15th chapter of Corinthians that the Apostle Paul stated to the Corinthians while preaching to them about the dead. 1 Corinthians 15:51 "Behold, I show thee a mystery: we shall not all sleep but we shall be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and shall be changed." At this point some are confused and debate occurs as to what is changed. But it clearly states that the dead are raised incorruptible and are all changed. It is simple and easy to understand that it is not a flesh and blood corruptible body that is due to return to the earth, but it is the incorruptible "Spirit that is raised from the dead and is changed. Then, praise the Lord, He promises to give us a new eternal body that pleases Him. I wish to add: I believe the body God gives us will be patterned after the life that we are living now. Live beautifully now and be beautiful eternally.
