Grand Master of Masons in Texas to visit local Lodge to install officers

On July 2nd, The Grand Master of Masons, of the Grand Lodge of Texas, will make a personal appearance at San Saba Lodge No. 612. Grand Master T.E. "Gene" Carnes will install the officers of the 70th Masonic District.

Lodges participating will be Lometa Lodge No. 514, Saratoga Lodge No. 506, San Saba No. 612, Goldthwaite Lodge No. 694 and Mullin Lodge No. 806.

A reception will be hosted by The Order of the Eastern Star, San Saba Chapter No. 191 beginning at 6:30 p.m. Lodge will be opened at 7:00 p.m. A meal of barbecue brisket, sausage, beans and baked potatoes will be served at 7:30 p.m. All OES and Masons are asked to bring a covered side dish, salad, bread or dessert.

After supper, the Grand Master will install the officers. This will be a public installation and friends and family are invited.
