Receipts totaled 5810 head for the week. Stocker steers and heifers sold steady, in some instances $2-$3 higher, in a very active market. Feeder steers sold $3-$5 higher while feeder heifers sold $3 higher reacting to a big reduction in the corn prices this past week. Packer cows sold $5 -$7 lower and packer bulls sold $3-$5 lower due to the large volume that have been coming to market across Texas this last month.
