Stewart Family Reunion

Some of the descendants of James Washington Stewart and Hattie Augusta Mallett Stewart family held their annual reunion on the weekend of June 11 and 12, 2011. Jim and Hattie had ten children raised in the Locker Community. There are only two of these children surviving, Frances Parks and Nancy Doyle.

There was a hamburger and homemade ice cream supper held Saturday evening at the home of Doris Cates with twenty nine in attendance.

The Senior Center was the scene for a covered dish lunch on Sunday. The group enjoyed good food, visiting, taking pictures, the beautiful Mill Pond Park and swimming. Since last year there were three family members passed away and two births. They agreed to have the reunion at the same place and time next year.

Adkins, Buchanan Dam; Julie Owen, Los Molinos, Ca; Betty and Jimmie Lee Townsend, Terri Taylor, Lindly Domel, Beth, Tad, Taylor and Beverly Rhyan, Burnet; Wanda Wallace, Comstock; Cristi, Haley and Caleb Parton, Fairfield; Cindi, Jeff, Lane and Shellbie Rust, Elk City, Ok; Dewey Hulme, Jarrell; Ramona Siebenmann and David Nix, Valley Mills; Brad and Cyanne Wimberley, Lake Jackson; Amanda Wimberley, Jeremy and Andrew Wiggins, Austin; Gerry and Leah Kinder, Willie Roy, Bree Price, Fernando Rogers, Waco; Jill and Aiden Wimberley, Sweeney; Nancy and Don Doyle, Gary Doyle, Breckenridge; Anita Doyle, Weatherford; and Juanita Barnes, Dallas. Those attending from San Saba were Frances Parks, Donald Parks, Larry Parks, Laura, Julia and Daila DeWitt, Ronald and Janet Sanderson and Doris Cates.
