Johnny Depp stars again as Captain Jack Sparrow who crosses paths with a woman from his past, Angelica (Penelope Cruz) and he is not sure if it is love or if she is a ruthless con artist who is using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. The movie also stars Geoffrey Rush, as Sparrow’s first mate, who is about to be hanged, but rescued by Sparrow, although they are captured and have to appear before King George II, who wants them to lead an expedition to found the Fountain before the Spanish find it.

When Angelica forces him aboard the Queen Ann’s Revenge, the ship of the pirate Blackbeard, played by Ian McShane, he finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn’t know who to fear most – Black Beard who is also after the Fountain of Youth or this woman of his past who happens to be Blackbeard’s daughter.
