A small boy was playing with his buddies in the backyard, and the small boy’s dad overheard them talking. The conversation was amusingly one of those "my dad is better than your dad" routines. One boy proudly said, "My dad knows the mayor of our town!" Another said, "That’s nothing - my dad knows the governor of this state!"

Wondering what was coming next in the program of bragging, the man heard his young boy say, "That’s nothing - my dad knows God!" The man swiftly slipped away from his place of ease dropping with tears on his cheeks. He dropped to his knees in his room and prayed earnestly and gratefully, "O God, I pray that my boy will always be able to say, ‘My dad knows God’." I hope to see you in church on Father’s Day.
