th is National Cancer Survivors Day. On Thursday, June 23, 2011, the San Saba Senior Center will host its 3rd annual luncheon and reception from 1:30-3:30 p.m. co-sponsored by the American Cancer Society. The Center is in need of food donations such as salads, desserts or appetizers. They are also asking for donations of door prizes, gift certificates, etc. Volunteers are needed as well to be hosts and hostesses to greet, to serve and generally make everyone feel welcome. This is a wonderful opportunity to show community support and honor the lives of those who have overcome so much. Please join us as we celebrate life.
