Pauline (Dee Dee) Gregg Stewardson

Pauline (Dee Dee) Gregg Stewardson, age 81 of San Saba, Texas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Dee Dee was born in San Saba County on April 18th, 1930 to Lawrence Hamilton Gregg and Pauline Gray Gregg. Dee Dee and Roger Boyd Stewardson were united in marriage on June 23rd, 1950 in San Saba. Dee Dee was a homemaker and a rancher’s wife as well as a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She was also a member of the Wallace Street Church of Christ. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her children, Janis Ann Grimes & husband, Billy Dan of Stephenville; and Sidney Todd Stewardson of San Saba. Her grandchildren, Dale Grimes and his wife, Traci of Stephenville; Brian Kilgore and his wife, Angie of Stephenville; Jacqueline Stewardson Harmon and her husband, Jarrett of Kansas; Todd Stewardson of San Saba; Roger Stewardson of San Saba; Justin Stewardson and his wife, Jennifer of San Saba; Kayla Stewardson Fuller and her husband, Tyler of Mississippi; and Brittney Stewardson Glavan and her husband, Wayne of Mississippi. Her Great Grandchildren, Westyn Grimes, Madisyn Grimes, Raegan Kilgore, Rylee Kilgore, Reese Kilgore, Raeleigh Harmon, Cooper Harmon, Jaedyn Stewardson, Kaydon Fuller, and Gracelyn Fuller. Dee Dee is survived by numerous neices and nephews as well as a brother in law, Jerry Sloan, and sister in laws, Lige Ann Stewardson, Elizabeth Barker, and Frances Skiles.

Dee Dee was proceeded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Pauline Gregg; her husband of 58 years, Boyd Stewardson, her loving sisters and best friends, Shannon Gregg Sloan and Alice Gregg Reese.

Visitation was from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday, June 3, 2011 at Howell Doran Funeral Home. Funeral services were 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at Howell Doran Funeral Home with James Johnston and Rev. Tom Brand officiating. Interment at San Saba Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Cherokee Children’s Home.
