Lana Luise Thomas to offer classes at Performance Talent Boot Camp

Lana Luise Thomas will be offering classes at the 4th Annual Performance Talent Boot Camp June 18th - 25th.

Miss Thomas is currently a junior at Concordia University in Austin, Texas where she is studying Mass Communications. Along with her schooling, she is currently working for the largest broadcasting company in America, Clear Channel Radio.

Prior to moving to Austin in order to complete her education, Miss Thomas spent two years studying dance and the entertainment business industry as a dance management major at Oklahoma City University. While in Oklahoma, Lana had a chance to participate in OCU’s American Spirit Dance Company, Liturgical Dance Company, and as a costumer and stage runner backstage of the American Spirit Dance shows. Miss Thomas began dancing at the age of two and was competing in dance and talent competitions by the age of eight. Lana Luise has attended classes and taught at several studios in Texas growing up. Her teaching career started at the age of twelve as an assistant teacher at Starlet Dance Studio, and within a year Miss Thomas was teaching her own classes to younger students. In high school, Lana continued to expand her knowledge in dance by attending various classes and dance camps. She also began teaching dance and dance movement to accompany vocal performances at her own studio in Buchanan Dam.

Growing up, Lana also participated in pageants where she won state and national titles at youth competitions before going on to compete in the Miss America system. Lana won second runner up at Miss America’s Outstanding Teen and the following year captured the title for Miss Ellis Country, which qualified her to compete in Miss Texas. At Miss Texas 2008, Lana Luise came home with awards for best interview and best non-finalist talent.
