A memorial service was held May 27, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at First Christian Church in Odessa, TX for Peggy and Dick Glover with Steve Digby, Senior Minister officiating.

Peggy was born in Healdton, OK on July 15, 1936 to Samuel A. and Lela Maness. She was a wonderful, loving wife, mother, daughter, and grandmother, a dear, caring friend to all who knew her. Peggy was the owner/CEO of Gemstar, Inc. and had successfully operated her business since 1976. She was also active in her church, Westminister Presbyterian, plus numerous other organizations, instilling in her children as well as grandchildren the importance of family and faith. Peggy's influence and legacy will forever be carried forward. No one was more generous, unselfish, or caring than Peggy who was our guardian angel having possessed all the qualities we strive to attain. Her influence and guidance is a testament to the extraordinary woman we all knew her to be.

Dick was born in Claremore, OK on August 2, 1934 to J.R. and Louise Glover. As a young man, he worked on oil rigs in Cuba for Kerr McGee later beginning his business, Dick Glover Company, in 1961. A hardworking and well respected businessman who was in his element in the oilfield, he loved his ranch, hunting and fishing, but most of all Dick cherished his wife and family.

Being so proud of their children and grandchildren, Peggy and Dick were the happiest when they were among them. Their love for them was infinite. Peggy and Dick also had many life-long friends who will all deeply miss them.

Peggy is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children, Greg Gray, his wife Dena and their children Chrissy, Trent and Erica; Teresa Trotter, her husband Stacy and their children Sean and Noelle; and Kevin Gray and his children Megan, Kendall and Garrett.

Dick is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sons, Richard "Skeet" Glover, his wife Stephanie and their children Holly Glover, Julie Lairson, her husband, Ross, Meshal Look, her son Matthew; Patrick Look, Courtney Look and Robert "Pete" Glover, his wife Ann and their children, Jennifer and Ashley.

Peggy and Dick were married on March 28, 1980 and celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary this year.
