Lorenzo Michael (Mexican) Vences passed away Sunday, May 29,2011 at the age of 21. He was born to Rebecca Gonzales and Lorenzo Vences January 30, 1990 in Llano, Texas.

Michael was a 2009 graduate of Llano High School. Hewas currently working as a Package Handler and formerly worked at Living Stone in Llano. He liked to fish, go back roading, drinking and loved to work.

Michael is survived by his mother, Rebecca (Becky) Gonzales of Llano; father, Lorenzo Vences of Llano; sister, Corina Nicole Vences of Llano; brother, Orlando Vences of Llano; paternal grandparents, Pina and Sistoc Vences of Mexico; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Patsy Elizabeth and Poncho Frank Gonzales.

A Rosary will be held at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Waldrope Hatfield Hawthorne Funeral Chapel in Llano. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Waldrope Hatfield Hawthorne Funeral Chapel with Mr. Oscar Herrera officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Dusty Lockhart, A.C. Pippenger, Ringo Moreno, Devin Moreno, Lance Cummins, Orlando Vences, Nick Cisneroz, and Alex Hernandez. Honorary pallbearers are his many friends in Llano and San Saba Counties. Burial to follow at Llano City Cemetery.
