Summer Reading Program offered at Rylander Memorial Library

The Friends of Rylander Library announce their 2011 Summer Reading Program called "Dig Up A Good Book." The program provides opportunities for children of all ages to enjoy reading.

The children’s program for grades Kindergarten to 4

This year a teen program for grades 5 -12 is also being offered from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Meader will also be leading the teen group who will be focusing on mysteries.

Local school officials applaud the library for its efforts to help children maintain and improve their reading skills over the summer. Sponsors for the two programs are the Friends of Rylander Library and LCRA

th grade begins Wednesday, June 1st and will continue each Wednesday in June (June 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th) from 1:30 to 2:30. Shelia Meador and her puppet friend Teddi will be providing the entertainment.
