Dr. R.C. Felts, Judge R.E. Gray, H.V. Felts and Morgan Mundy, the latter of Fort Worth, returned Monday from a great fishing party to the Rio Grande River.

And did they "bring home the bacon?" They did except that it was a wonderful 50 pound yellow catfish and any number of reasonable size fish along with this master catch.

A great fish fry with all the accessories was staged at beautiful Risien Swimming Pool Park, Tuesday evening, when a number of families met with them and enjoyed a wonderful feast.

At the conclusion of the fish feast, a surprise was sprung. It was a mammoth birthday cake honoring the birthday of Homer Vic Felts, brother of Dr. R.C. Felts. It was a great occasion of fellowship and breaking of bread together and many of the guests expressed the hope that other fishing tours might be staged to the Rio Grande or somewhere else.
