Amanda Skaggs, 28, of San Saba, TX passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Hendrick Medical Center in Abilene, TX. Amanda was born on December 29, 1982 in Llano, TX and was the daughter of Clarence and Delilah Skaggs of San Saba, TX. Amanda went to school in San Saba and later became a Nurses Aide.

Amanda is survived by her mother, Delilah Skaggs of San Saba; maternal grandmother, Wanda Woods of San Saba; brothers, David Woodward and wife Renee of San Saba and Tommy Skaggs of Richland Springs; sisters, Lynda Valdez of Richland Springs, Sarah Patino of Richland Springs, Elizabeth Crim and husband Ronnie of San Saba, Tammie Duffy and husband Jerry of Brownwood, Melissa Woodward and husband Rayfus of Midland and Melinda Arriaga and husband Benito of San Saba; several nieces and nephews. Amanda was preceded in death by her father, and one sister, Sherry Skaggs.

Visitation was 6:00 - 8:00 PM Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at Howell Doran Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 18th at Howell Doran Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bruce Craig officiating. Interment at San Saba Cemetery.
