Lady Dillo Track Report
Thursday, May 12, 2011 • Posted May 12, 2011

Last Monday and Tuesday we ventured way out west for

our Regional Track Meet. We competed well but came u short in our quest for advancement to the State Track Meet in Austin. Jennifer Anaya and Haylee Oliver were our

highest finishers as they both placed 5th in their respective events. Haylee placed 5th in the Pole Vault clearing 9’6" and Jennifer placed 5th in the 100. Danessa placed 7th in the mile and also competed in the 3200. Our 1600 Relay which is comprised of Jennifer Anaya, Carmen Pardes, Kayla Kutin and Mikayla Kutin finished 8th in their heat. Jennifer also had the 9th best time in the 200 coming out of the prelims and missed advancing to the finals in this race by one place. Danessa also ran the 2 mile and finished 12th in this race. Congrats to these ladies on their accomplishments this year. I normally don’t do any SHOUTOUTS during track season but a few come to mind. The first one goes to the Softball team and Coach Stowe and Thiebaud- congrats on a great season. The next one to JAMMIN JEFF PANNELL and

SCINTILLATING SCOT MATHIS and the baseball team for their 4th consecutive trip to the state playoffs. Hope you guys have a long ride in the postseason.

The BIGGEST and LOUDEST SHOUTOUT goes to my beautiful bride TRACIE, she turns 40 on May 21st and this is also a GREAT day for her as she has her first book signing in San Saba and unveils her first published children’s book. Take a bow honey, I’m so proud of you and your book!!!
