The San Saba Middle School Tennis Team won the 6-AA District Championship on May 7, held at Early High School. The tennis team came home with the 7

Next week we will have the results on the State Tennis Tournament being played on May 9-10. Tarah Crosby and Joannah Crosby are playing for the State Championship at Lakeway World of Tennis.

th Grade and 8th Grade District Championship as well as 23 individual medals.th Grade Girls Singles, Micah Cox and Sarita Vega battled it out for 1st place with Micah winning 8-3. Another pair of San Saba players played for 3rd and 4th place as sisters, Amy Sanders and Erin Sanders went head to head with Erin winning a close match 9-8.th Grade Boys Singles, Yason Aguirre won the championship defeating Kwade Boyd from Early 8 – 6. Omar Argote lost a close match for 3rd place to Austin Carlyle from Early 8 – 6. Regan Casco won consolation by defeating Alex Hamilton from Early 8 – 6.th Grade Girls Singles it was an all San Saba finals with Mykah McKinnerney and Hollee Ragsdale defeating teammates Katy Ingram and Maddie Nettleship 8 – 5.th Grade Boys Doubles, Holt Oliver and John Watson won first place by defeating Cornelio and Donaho of Early 8 – 3.th Grade Girls Singles, finals McKenna Maxcey defeated teammate Shea Scott 8 – 3.th Grade Boys Singles Emilio Zapata won 3rd place by defeating Ethan Beane from Early 8 – 1. Saul Cervantes won consolation by defeating teammate Jantzen Bell 8 – 4.th Grade Girls Doubles, Shelby Buttler and Lauren Tatsch defeated teammates Magali Estrada and A.J. Gamboa 8-5.th Grade Boys Doubles once again it was an all San Saba affair in the finals as Byron Riggs and Garrett Welch defeated Drew Daniel and Joseph Messer 8-2.
