Nina Faye Yeathermon

Nina Faye Yeathermon, 57, was carried to Heaven May 7th 2011, with her family by her side in Brownwood Texas.

Nina was born August 3rd 1953 in Port Lavaca, Texas, to William and Nora Crawford. She attended San Saba Schools. She married Arthur Yeathermon April 20, 1978. Nina was a Certified Nurse Aide. She dedicated her life taking care of others not just in her job but family and everyday life. She worked at Kingsland Hills Care Center in Kingsland, Texas.

Nina was a firm believer in family. She took every opportunity she had to spend with her family, especially her grandchildren, who where her life.

Nina is survived by her husband, Arthur Yeathermon; and children, Debra Cummins and partner, April Hilton; Tanya and husband, Jason Boyd; Crystal Russell, Johnny Yeathermon and partner, Mike Rivera; and Shannon Yeathermon and 16 grandchildren. Sisters, Willie and husband, Delbert Thrash; Sharon Meador, and Sandy and husband, Steven Snyder; and brother, Ricky and wife, Tammy Crawford; several aunts and uncles; numerous nieces and nephews; cousins and good friends. And a special thanks to our wonderful nurses at Lighthouse Hospice and staff who were angels in our time of need.

Nina was preceded in death by both her parents; a brother, Randy Crawford and a grandson, Kelly Wayne Cummins.

A visitation was held on Monday, May 9, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the Howell Doran Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services were 3:00 PM at the Howell Doran Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Stan Roberts officiating. Interment at Wallace Creek Cemetery.
