Doug and Cyndi Suggs had a full house for Easter week-end. Monica and Samus Baisden, Tiffany Suggs and Keremy and Sheila Suggs were all visiting. They came for the "adult" egg hunt. Monica went home with the most prizes.Delton and Valerie McGuire spent the Easter week-end with their family. It was their granddaughter's first Easter.

Talli and Tori Morrison had fun at Mamo’s last week end. That is actually Tommy’s mother and dad’s house they went too!

Rick and Debbie Duggar have had their granddaughters visiting. They celebrated a birthday while here.

John and Patty Kuykendall had grandsons visiting them last week.

Nettie Jean Randolph and her cousin, Lovell Ann went to help Willie Nelson celebrate his birthday last weekend.

Cherokee Day is Saturday, May 7, 2011. This is the day everyone is invited to come to Cherokee Home for Children and have lunch. There will be lots of BBQ, fixins and all the buildings will be open for you to tour. The buildings will be open at 9:00 a.m. and close for lunch at 11:00 a.m. After lunch you are welcome to go through any of the buildings you did not get to go through before lunch. There will be a time of remembrance of Danny Duggan. Come out and join the fun.

The Athletic Banquet will be this Thursday night at 6:30 p.m. at the Pavilion at Cherokee Home. The Junior High and High School Students will received their athletic awards.
