Today's Girls benefit fund raiser
Thursday, May 5, 2011 • Posted May 5, 2011

The Today's Girls will be performing a Community Service Fund-raiser for the 13 year old, Isah Thorp, from Lometa. He is the brother of the Texas State Today's Baby Queen, Chloe Thorp. Isiah was involved in a horrific ATV accident on April 9, 2011. He was airlifted to Dell Children's Hospital in Austin, TX where he spent numerous days in ICU receiving care and help with his recovery. He underwent countless surgeries and procedures and is doing remarkable well. He has since been released, but has a long road of recovery and additional medical procedures ahead of him.

Several of the Today's Girls and their families will have a hamburger meal available at the Pecan Capital Trades Day, Saturday, May 7th. The girls will take orders and deliver the meals, or they may be picked up at the courthouse from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The girls realize the hardship that has been placed on this family, and want to help them with their financial burden.

The Performance students will also be available to show their support in this endeavor, and will be performing from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the courthouse stairs. Bring your lawn chairs, have a delicious hamburger, enjoy the entertainment and show your support for the Thorp family.

To order your hamburger meal or make a monetary donation, please contact Kay Lynn Scott at 325-372-8600 or performancetalent@yahoo.com
