Lady Dillo Track Report - School & Sports - San Saba News & Star

The Lady Dillo tracksters ventured over to Brown County last Thursday for a Regional Qualifiers Meet and did quite well against some stiff competition. We have

six girls going to Regionals in Odessa and they will be competing in seven events. We won’t be running next week due to TAKS testing and will leave on Sunday for our westward voyage to Odessa. The meet will take place at Ratliff Stadium where the famed MOJO plays. Danessa will compete on Monday morning in the two mile to start things off for us. I’m very proud of these Regional Qualifiers and I appreciate their work ethic and attitude. The workout conditions as of late haven’t been ideal but they’ve been troopers and have worked hard to improve their times. I appreciate all they do for our Lady DilloTrack program!!

Brownwood Regional Qualifer Results:

Pole Vault- Haylee Oliver- tied for 4th

High Jump- Haylee Oliver- tied for 3rd

100-Jennifer Anaya 5th,Mikay- la Cisneroz-12th

200- Jennifer Anaya- 5th- Best time of year- 26.5

1600- Danessa Vasquez- 4th

1600 Relay- (Mikayla Cisneroz, Carmen Paredes, Jennifer Anaya, Kayla Kutin)- 6th in Heat.
