Once again, we missed out on the rain which fell not too far from us. Fortunately, we have also missed out on the severe thunderstorms with hail and wind damage. We didn’t have a cold spell for Easter like we have had in the past.

After church on Sunday, we drove to Voca and had our Easter gathering with Rex and Amy Tucker and family at their new property. There were 17 of us there including, Stacie, Santos and Sophia Elizondo, Santos and Nonie Elizondo, all of San Angelo; Martha and Roger Tucker from Menard; Myrt and Curt Overby from El Dorado/ Montana; Marilyn, Michael and Bethany Suber and myself from Richland Springs and the hostesses Rex, Amy, Jaxon, Georgia and Jesse Tucker. After a scrumptious dinner, Sophia Elizondo performed for her audience and actually took her first step! Then we had a baseball game where the age of the players ranged from 7 to 70. It was topped off with an Easter egg hunt and we all had a very good day.

The April meeting of the Holt Cemetery association was cancelled. The next one will be the first Saturday in October.

Michael and Marilyn Suber visited with Emily Mask at Songbird Lodge in Brownwood on Monday. Emily is in good spirits and wants to tell everyone "Hello." She has improved considerably but still has a long way to go.

We had a message from Helen Deeds saying they had about 35 family members for their Easter gathering Sunday. Everyone was there except one grandson. I know they had a good time.
