Receipts totaled 4459 head for the week. The market remains very active with all classes of calves and yearlings selling steady with several light weight new crop calves coming to town due to the dry conditions. Packer cows sold $3 lower but the top selling cow sold for $86. Packer bulls also sold $3 lower. Held in conjunction with our regular sale was a SimPlus bull offering with 26 head with the top bulls selling for $3100. Also offered were some SimPlus females with the top pen of open heifers selling for $1210.
