Court Appointed special Advocates for the Highland Lakes Area announces Spring Volunteer Training
Thursday, April 14, 2011 • Posted April 14, 2011

In 2010, CASA for the Highland Lakes Area advocated on behalf of, and facilitated therapeutic and legal resolution for 225 children. Since January 2011, we have received 29 new children into care.

CASA volunteers provided a voice for abused and neglected children in the five counties of Blanco, Burnet, Lampasas, Llano and San Saba. Our small victims need big voices. Won’t you speak up for a child in crisis?

Volunteer Training will begin the week of April 25, 2011. The training is offered at the CASA office in Kingsland. Volunteers must be 21 years of age or older. For more information, visit our Web site at Highlandlakescasa.com or please call Ginner Boswell at 325 388-3440.
