Thursday, April 14, 2011 • Posted April 14, 2011

The May 14, 2011 RSISD Bond Election Proposition will include the construction of a new elementary school building.

The project being proposed for the bond election is centered around Richland Springs ISD’s need for new facilities. The District’s highest facilities priority would be to construct a brand new Elementary School Facility. The new Pre-K through 6th grade building to include individual classroom space for each grade, multi-purpose room for science/technology, teachers work center, and special education unit, along with a new bus/parent drop off drive at the new building.

This is simply a rendition of what the building and entrance could look like and not a final plan.

The rendition of the elementary building was drawn by architect Mike Nelson and Associates of the architectural firm NR2.

There was no charge for the architectural rendition of the proposed elementary building. An architect will be hired only after the approval of the bond by the voters of the district.
