The Tip

1 Thessalonians 5:11: "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."

A boy went into the diner. He asked the waitress how much an ice cream sundae was. She told him it was 50 cents. Some people were now waiting for a table and the waitress was a bit impatient. The little boy counted the coins and asked how much is just plain ice cream. She told him 35 cents. "I’ll have the plain ice cream," he said.

The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on the table and walked away. The boy finished the ice cream, paid the cashier and departed. When the waitress came back, she began wiping down the table and then swallowed hard at what she saw. There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, were two nickels and five pennies - her tip. Show your appreciation all the time.
