If you might have happened to have been wondering as to my where-abouts the past few weeks, our computer at the home (aka; office) has been in the PC Hospital over in Goldthwaite. We did visit on the such said subject a while back when I was forced to resort to a pencil and my Big Chief Tablet to personally pen a couple of articles for the "News" That did prove to be a bit more laborious than preferred and the person that did the "input" on my handwritten article encountered a certain degree of difficulty in deciphering my heiroglyphics. Anyhow, I did really take time to go fishing during the break as well as Shaw and Will getting to clean the catch. I did actually help out some with the big Yellow Cat and cleaned one of the small ones. I also got to visit with Lucille earlier in the week at the grocery store and she was mighty proud we caught some fish, as Will is good about sharing with Nana.

Harkey Cousin, Dale Meas was in from Prescott, Arizona last week visiting with us and spent some time with his lab, Marnie, down at the Ol' Towerton Place at the Colony. He is quite an accomplished photographer and sends us some interesting shots of the flora, fauna, and scenery from the River Place. One of his favorite outings while in the area is to make it over to Cherokee and spends some time visiting with Ms. Sue at "The Store" as well as sampling some of her good fare during the visit. I happened to stop by there last week on a gravel haul and she remarked at wondering if Dale and I were actually related as he is a relatively quiet fellow. Hmmm!

By the time you are reading this the windy month of March will about be done with. Hopefully the winds of March will bring on the April Showers so we can enjoy the May Flowers. That also goes for grass too.

We would also like to post an early reminder to area Aggies of the upcoming Aggie Muster schedulled for San Jacinto Day down at the RV Park at the Golf Course. Dick Miller and yours truly have done some pre-planning for the meeting and Stan has the Pavillion and big - pit area reserved for us to sizzle some sirloins. We also take time to introduce the High School Seniors from around the County that are planning on entering Texas A&M this coming Fall.

I'll be trying to catch up on some other timely news the next couple of weeks as the Mayor and Yours truly try to get caught up out around ----Harkeyville!!!
