This past Friday the Middle School Boys track competed at the Harper Invitational. The boys had a great day of competing and showing what athletic talent they have. The 8

th grade finished 8th place in the meet with everyone making better times and farther distances than the last track meet. Some Highlights of the 8th grade were, Ridge Smith Placing 4th in the 800 and 5th in the 400. Also the 8th mile relay placed 5th consisting of Will Cooley, Juan Gonzales, Jesse Franco and Vicente Vega.

The 7

th Grade boys track placed 4th overall and improved from the last track meet. Some highlights of the evening were, David Valencia placing 2nd in shot put and 3rd in Discus, Yason Aguirre placing 1st in the Triple Jump, Logan Guidroz placed 5th in the 110 Hurdles. The 7th boys relay teams consisting of Carter Eden, John Faught, John Watson, Yason Aguirre, and Emiliano Rocha placed 3rd in the 800 relay, 3rd in the Mile Relay and 6th in the 400 relay. Congrats to all the Armadillos who competed last Friday! The next track meet is on Tuesday the 29th in Brady, come out and support these Kids!
