Pecan Grafting Demonstration

The Lampasas and San Saba County Texas AgriLife Extension Service offices will conduct a Pecan grafting program on Tuesday April 12

th at 3:00 p.m. at the Lampasas County Farm Bureau Building. Dr. Tommy Thompson, USDA Pecan Specialist from College Station will present the program. The primary emphasis will be on the Inlay bark graft and the patch bud methods of propagating pecans. Dr. Thompson will discuss other methods upon request.

Cost for the program is $15.00 per person payable at the beginning of the program. One Continuing Education Unit, General, will be available for those with a Pesticide Applicator License. Please bring any grafting equipment, double bladed knives, you own.
