Patricks celebrate 60th Wedding Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. Earl C. Patrick celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary, February 27th at their home in the Bowser Community, San Saba County. Earl C. Patrick and Lydia E. Martin were married February 25, 1951 at the Bowser Methodist Church. The Rev. Alvin R. Mauldin officiated. The couple lived in the Tankersly and Miles area before returning to the Bowser community. Earl served in the Navy during World War II. He also served on the Richland Utility District board, worked at Loadcraft for 22 years and farmed and ranched. Lydia was employed as an accountant, worked at a florist shop and continues to spend countless hours as a homemaker. They are still active in their farming and ranching operation. They are members of the Bowser Community Church where Earl previously served as a steward and Lydia was a Sunday School teacher. Their children, Teresa P. Bush and Perry L. Patrick and his wife, Mary, hosted a family meal and festive anniversary celebration in their parents honor. Mr. and Mrs. Patrick are blessed to have several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
