San Saba JV Lady Dillo Softball Report - School & Sports - San Saba News & Star

The JV Lady Dillos kicked off district play in Comanche. The Lady Dillos fought hard but were downed by the score of 15-1.

Kayla Kutin went 2-3 with 2 singles. Elizabeth Bryant, Jacey Martinez, and Falyn Rainwater each added a single. Mikayla Eden scored the Lady Dillos only run on a passed ball.

The second district ballgame was in Dublin against the Lady Lions. There was definite improvement in the Lady Dillos. It was a tightly contested ballgame, but Dublin came out ahead 8-5.

Jacey Martinez led the way hitting with 2 singles. Josie Dawson, Elizabeth Bryant, and Joely Haverland each chipped in a base hit. The Lady Dillos scored their runs by being aggressive on the base paths and having timely hitting.
