On Friday March 11th the San Saba Middle School Boys traveled to Zephyr for a track meet. At the track meet the 7th and 8th grade boys combined to finish 2nd. With an athlete in every event including the field events all have or will receive a ribbon. The relay teams improved their times by almost 4 seconds from the previous times. The Distance runners also improved their times some by as much as 15 seconds! For the throwers this was their first Track meet to compete in and they were impressive. For the most part all of the running athletes improved times by almost 3-4 seconds if not more across the board. This was also the first track meet for Field events. All of the jumpers set pretty good marks for themselves and now must train to better themselves. In all the 7TH AND 8TH grade Boys improved in all of their times, winning and competing in all events in preparation for the next track meet, which will be held this Friday the 25 @ Harper.
