6-Pak's annual fishing contest very competitive

6-Pak held its annual fishing contest June 5th through June 8th. Over 500 lbs. of fish were donated to the San Saba Volunteer Fire Department for their upcoming fish fry.

The winning teams were as follows:

Yellowcat Category -

1st Place - Team of Paul Gibson and Todd Gibson; total weight = 62 lbs.

2nd Place - Team of Jeffrey Edmondson, Darrell Goains, and Jim Edmondson; total weight = 56 lbs.

3rd Place - Team of Troy Gilger, Troy Van Cleave, and Morgan Gilger; total weight = 51 lbs.

The team of Edmondson, Goains, and Edmondson won the Yellowcat Jackpot with the weight of 25 lbs.

Channelcat Category -

1st Place - Team of Joe Beasley and Ben Frank; total weight = 15 lbs. 12 ozs.

2nd Place - Team of Paul Gibson and Todd Gibson; total weight = 15 lbs. 11 ozs.

3rd Place - Team of Troy Gilger, Troy Van Cleave, and Morgan Gilger; total weight of 4 lbs. 5 ozs.

6-Pak says "Thanks" to all the teams who entered and made the fishing contest another success. 6-Pak also thanks all the firemen who showed up to clean and cut up all the fish donated to the Fire Department and Johnny Shahan who fried some fish for the fishermen who entered the contest.
