Receipts totaled 1626 head for the week. The market continued its upward trend as we saw fat cattle sell for $118 on Wednesday and some at $119 on Thursday. We are seeing all time record price levels in the cattle market. Stocker steers sold $5 higher and heifers sold $5-$7 higher. Feeder steers and heifers sold $3 higher. Packer cows were steady and bulls were $2 higher. The Cattleman’s Kind Simmental and SimAngus bull sale sold 38 bulls averaging $2536.49 with two bulls topping out at $3500.
