On March 12th, the Stars & Stripes of Richland Springs held a chili supper and bingo to raise money for the annual July 4th fireworks.

The turnout was moderate but donations were good and greatly appreciated.

Bingo was a hit and fun was had by all. We would like to thank all who donated prizes for the game and the top winners: from San Saba, Hamrick's Automotive, Pecan Valley Hardware, Shahan Auto Parts, Everett's Emporium, Barns & McCullough, Franks Watch & Trophy, Millican Pecan, Oliver Pecan, West End, The Rose Shop, Hibler Locker Plant, Riggs Feed & Fertilizer, GrabbaJabba, Staffords Chevron, Bagley Pecan, and Harry's; from Richland Springs, Ruthie's, Skelton Welding & Hardware, Stagecoach Restaurant, Douglas Gibson and several anonymous donors. Our bingo players also get a big "thank you" as well. Our top winners were: Tommy and Cheyenne Skaggs with 9, Lynn Green with 5, Sarah Patino with 4, and the winner of our grand prize was Laura Garcia of Brownwood. All total we played for 42 prizes.

We would also like to give a big "thank you" to those who gave monetary donations. Without these and the support of our community, there would be no fireworks.
