Kyle Dean Gage, 71, of San Saba, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2011 at the Methodist Specialty and Transplant Hospital in San Antonio, Texas

Dean was born on March 5, 1940, in San Saba, Texas to Clem Powell Gage and Mary Zelma Yarbrough Gage. He spent most of his life living and working in San Antonio, Texas. He worked as a Stone and Brick Mason in construction supervision until his retirement to San Saba in July of 2010. He was a beloved father, brother, and uncle that will be dearly missed. He was a man respected and loved by his co-workers for his gracious heart, firm hand and honest opinion. There wasn’t anything Dean wouldn’t do or give to help a friend or family member in need.

Dean is survived by his daughters, Amanda Gage Corbett with her husband Brett Corbett of San Antonio, Texas; and Cassie Beth Nelson, her husband Allen Nelson, and their children Cuatro, Brodie and Callie Nelson of Perry, Arkansas. He is also survived by his brother Larry Gage with his wife Sally Gage, their son David Wayne Gage and his sons Ryan and Jordan Gage. Dean is also survived by his nieces and their families from his other brothers, Lloyd and Kenneth Gage.

Dean was preceded in death by his mother, Zelma Gage, his father, Clem Gage; and his two brothers, Lloyd and Kenneth Gage.

Funeral Services was held on Saturday, March 12, 2011, at 2:00 PM at Howell Doran Funeral Home Chapel in San Saba, Texas.
