The descendants of the late James W. and Hattie Mallett Stewart held their annual family reunion on the weekend of June 7th and 8th, 2008 in San Saba.

On Saturday, a hamburger supper with homemade ice cream was held at the home of Doris Cates with 33 in attendance. Some friends of the family visited also.

The annual covered dish meal was held at the Senior Center. There was visiting, picture taking, many enjoyed the newly remodeled swimming pool, and other interests in Mill Pond Park. There was a short business meeting. The group agreed to have the reunion at the same place and time next year. There were announcements of births, newly graduates and other items of interest since last year.
