Jacky Carsten, 44, of San Saba, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008 in Lampasas, TX. He was born January 4, 1964 in San Saba, the son of Albert Lee Carsten and Dorothy Gatliff Carsten.

He is survived by his mother, Dorothy Duncan of San Saba; father, Albert Lee Carsten and his wife, Loretta, of Shawnee, Oklahoma; one maternal grandmother, Gertie Gatliff of San Saba; three brothers: Jerry West and his wife, Diann, of Lometa, Texas; Donald Carsten and his wife, Teri, of Dublin, Texas; and Jimmy Berrio and his wife, Brenda, of Cherokee, Texas; two sisters: Tawana Riggs and her husband, Dale, of San Saba; and twin sister, Judy Wilke and her husband, Roland, of Fredericksburg; six aunts: Mary Riser and her husband, Wayne, of San Saba; Vinna Bailey and her husband, Charles, of Llano; Linda Russell of Leander; Bernice Hoskins and her husband, Roland, of San Saba; Brenda Schneider of Llano; and Emma Havins and her husband, Troy, of Houston; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. at the Howell-Doran Funeral Home, with Rev. Tom Brand officiating and Rev. George Wheeler assisting. Interment will follow at the Hillcrest Cemetery.

Family requests that memorials be made to the Boys and Girls Club in Lampasas, Texas.
