At the last meeting on February 12th, a written petition was presented in open lodge with a majority of the 26 members desiring to merge with San Saba Lodge No. 612. The membership also decided to petition and allow San Saba Lodge to assume jurisdiction of Richland Springs ISD for the purposes of Public School Week and inviting the senior class to the annual Seniors Banquet in May.

Richland Springs Masonic Lodge No. 882 will have its stated meeting on Saturday evening, March 12th. Members are asked to bring a pot luck supper for a small meal at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. The main thrust of the meeting will be the business of consolidation. The lodge is required by Grand Lodge law to hold three consecutive stated meetings (Feb., March, and April) whereby the members in attendance are provided every opportunity to consider the merger with San Saba Lodge No. 612. Every Master Mason in good standing should be in attendance.

In recognition of Public School Week, Richland Springs Lodge No. 882 takes this opportunity to recognize its past recipients of the Lamar Medal that the lodge has presented to the students and educators of Richland Spring ISD from 1988 to 2010.
