Shanna Mackenzie, 29, of Elgin, TX passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin, TX.

Shanna was born on July 26, 1981 in San Saba, TX to Johnny Myers Jr. and Betty Vaughn Myers. Shanna and Robert "Rob" Mackenzie were united in marriage on May 21, 2006 and made their home in Elgin, TX. Shanna worked at Prosperity Bank in Bastrop, TX. Shanna was also a member of the Assembly of God. Shanna was a loving and caring person and will be greatly missed.

Shanna is survived by her husband, Robert Mackenzie Jr. of Elgin; her daughters, Makenna and Bethanee Mackenzie of Elgin; her mother, Betty Myers of San Saba; her brother, Shane Myers and his wife Staci and their children Jacob, Collin, Landon and Lexi of Round Rock; her niece, Lexi Myers; her nephews, Jocob, Collin and Landon Myers; Andrew, little Andrew and Nicholas Pobazn. Shanna was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, March 6, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Howell Doran Funeral Home Chapel with Amanda Brand officiating. Interment was at Wallace Creek Cemetery. Visitation was held on Saturday, March 5, 2011 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Howell Doran Funeral Home Chapel.
