Dillo Lifters compete in Strawn
Thursday, March 3, 2011 • Posted March 3, 2011

On Friday, February 25, 2011, the San Saba Armadillo Powerlifting team competed in a meet at Strawn. We were pleased with the way the young men competed. They bettered their previous totals because of their hard work and dedication. We finished in third place, which was a huge accomplishment, out of thirty seven teams. The two teams that finished ahead of us were AAAA Waco University and AAAAA Lewisville Marcus. Some other notable schools competing were Bangs, WF City View, Brady, Granbury, WF Rider, Bonham, Bridgeport, Jim Ned, Early, and Brownwood.

We are extremely proud of these young men for their efforts, accomplishments, hard work, and character. They need to be commended for the way that they represented San Saba High School and the community during this Powerlifting season. They are a fine group of young men and a pleasure for us to coach.
