The Lady Dillos kicked off the 2011 season Monday against Brady. The game was played at home. It was a tightly contested ballgame. The Lady Dillos pulled off the victory 4-2. It was a great way to start the season.

Mikalya Eden went 1 for 3 with a single and a run scored. Candace Saldivar went 0 for 2 with 2 walks and a run scored. Nikki Ortiz went 0 for 2 with a walk. McKenzie Hibler went 1 for 2 with a double and an RBI. Marisela Zapata went 0 for 2 with a walk and a run scored. Katie Ross went 1 for 2 with a single, a walk, and a run scored. Kelli Cox went 2 for 3 with 2 singles and an RBI. Erin Edmondson went 0 for 2 with an RBI.

Nickie Ortiz started in the circle for the Lady Dillos. She went 7 innings allowing only 2 runs, 1 of which was earned. Nickie struck out 11 while allowing only 1 walk. It was a great game in the circle!
