Do Well, Be Well Diabtes class being offered during March

Do you have Diabetes? Do you know someone with Diabetes? Want to learn how to control it better? Then the extension education program called Do Well, Be Well is for you. The classes, held each Tuesday in March (March 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29) are for you. Teaching the classes will be local and area doctors, nurses, physical therapist and nurses. The series will be held at Rylander Library, 5:15 to 7:00 p.m. The schedule is as follows:

March 1st - What is Diabetes? Carolyn McDowell, AgriLife Extension Agent-FCS.

Preventing and Managing Complications Kaye Clancey, RN for the Methodist Health Care Ministries March 8th.

One Diabetes Diet—No Longer the Sole Option Kelly Tarpley, Dietitianfor Llano Memorial Health Care.

Nutrition—1st Step to Diabetes Management Kelly Tarpley, Dietitian, Llano Memorial Health Care System.

Diabetes and Medicine (speaker to be announced at a later date).

The registration fee is a $10.00 one time charge.
